ABCD is dedicated to becoming the epicenter for dance education, teaching students from ages 2 to Adult, professional level dancers, and offering rehearsal space for entertainers.
The weekly curriculum includes a daily ballet class, and a daily modern technique class of either Horton and/or Graham–based modern. A distinct variety of supplementary techniques include jazz, Dunham technique, hip-hop, body conditioning, yoga, barre à terre and repertory. In order to provide students with the most effective and focused training, all students are evaluated individually and placed in the proper level at their audition. Faculty Advisors and the School Directors create a customized schedule for each student based on the levels in Ballet, Horton and Graham-based modern, and the student’s choice of elective classes and workshops.
